Sheriam Bayanar used to be the Mistress of the Novices while Nynaeve, Egwene and Elayne were in the Tower. She was one of the Aes Sedai who healed Mat of the Shadar Logoth dagger's taint. After the split of the White Tower, she fled to Salidar with the other rebels. Previously of the Blue Ajah, she became the Keeper of the Chronicles for the rebels once Egwene was made Amyrlin Seat. It later was revealed that Sheriam is Black Ajah and was given orders by Halima and Mesaana. After Egwene and the others discovered her treachery, Sheriam was beheaded as a traitor.
