Is it possible for an Aes Sedai to bond someone Asha'man style?
Yes, if they learned the weaves. The Asha'man know a lot more about bonding than the Aes Sedai. Some guy figured out how to bond their wives, and then they started concentrating on other things they could do with the bond. The Aes Sedai never experimented, just passed on what they knew. |

Do we have enough information to identify Mesaana?
RJ said there are many clues as to Mesaana's identity, enough that we should figure it out before Crossroads of Twilight. He basically said that he'd full-out reveal her in upcoming books, though: '...and if you still don't know, well, you'll find out later.' |

So the Eye of the World is a well, right Could it be refilled by a male channeler? Are wells made with the opposite half of the power that they were meant to contain, like Rand did at Shadar Logoth?
Yes and no. It's in the same class of objects as a well, but on a different scale. No. Remember, lots of Aes Sedai died to make it. [To keep it pure]. Look, a normal well is like this water glass. The Eye is like a liquid nitrogen canister. [But] no, they don't work like that. |

When Rand went to see the rebels in A Crown of Swords, and Fain was there, why didn't Rand just waste him and gate out of there?
When Rand visits the rebels, he has a specific goal in mind. He's just been to see the Sea Folk, and things have gone his way there, so he's going to see what the Dragon Reborn can do about the rebels. Killing an advisor and Traveling away is not going to help him accomplish his goals. He's not a fool. |

Is Olver Gaidal Cain?
No. I didn't really think that this would last as long as it has. The timing is wrong. He has another reason for being there besides being a red herring, though. (Questioner: He's too old?) Yes. Time in Tel'aran'rhiod and the real world run at different rates, but it never runs backwards. You may spend an hour in Tel'aran'rhiod, and a day has passed when you get back, or you may spend a day, and an hour has passed when you get back, but you'll never go in on Tuesday and come back on Monday. |

Will Shara get any screen time?
Read and find out. I don't know, actually. There are things that need to happen that might have to happen there, but it will be a lot easier if I can make them happen somewhere else. |

Is the world of the books another world?
The intention is that the world of the books is our world at a different time. The concept is that time is a wheel, so if you go far enough into our future or into our past, you come to the time in the books. Because of that, they have legends that originate in our time, and we have legends that originate in theirs. |

Can you explain a bit about the properties of the World of Dreams? Such as when Nynaeve forced Moghedien to drink forkroot tea, which caused the Forsaken to fall asleep. But within that same book, the Wise Ones tell Egwene that drinking tea will in Tel'aran'rhiod will cause no effects upon the body.
It's a strong matter of belief. If you believe something like that will happen to you, then it can and does. |

Also, what about wounds and pain? Causing pains/wounds though an intermediate source--such as stabbing one with a dagger made in Tel'aran'rhiod--causes lasting pain. Yet if one were to simply cause the other to feel that pain directly, it fades upon reaching the waking world.
No it doesn't. If you feel pain in the World of Dreams, in Tel'aran'rhiod, then you have that pain in the waking world. Tel'aran'rhiod is real in that respect. |
